Pro H.R.195 - Seniors' Health Care Freedom Act
The Honorable (Representative First and Last Name)
Dear Representative (Last Name);
I am writing in regard to HR 195, legislation to legally allow persons over the age of 62 to voluntary refuse to participate in any part of the Medicare program.
I support this bill because I do not want the federal government dictating my ability to receive, or not receive, health care services from a physician of my choosing, at my own personal expense. More and more doctors are refusing to accept Medicare aged persons because of reimbursement amounts. Under current Medicare law, I am not given the choice to opt out of Medicare, even if I do not need it.
If I wish to have a doctor as my primary care physician, but they do not accept Medicare aged persons, we have a limited choice of options under the current law. One of which is to avoid the law altogether. How does this help anyone?
I strongly urge you to support this legislation,
Sincerely,
