NHF President to Speak at the
Freedom Action National Conference

Posted June 7, 2010

The Forces of Freedom
Return to Valley Forge
August 12 – 14 - 2010

Special message for Tom DeWeese, President of American Policy Center:

I am very proud to announce that the American Policy Center and The DeWeese Report are sponsoring a very important event this summer.

I’ve organized the Freedom Action National Conference, along with 232 co-sponsoring organizations, to be held this summer, August 12 – 14, 2010, at the Dolce Hotel in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

I want to personally invite you to join me. I believe it will be the most important conference you will ever attend.

Let me tell you why.

Growing numbers of concerned, dedicated Americans are joining the nationwide protests against ever-higher taxes; the outrage of Obamacare; the bailouts and the Federal Reserve; the growing government surveillance society; and the ever growing destruction of private property rights through the policies of Sustainable Development.

The question now is “What’s the next step?”

Local action, from strengthening State 10th Amendment rights, to exposing the efforts of UN-based organizations in our local communities, like the International Council on Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) will be the focus of the Freedom Action Conference.

If we stand firm at home against federal mandates and international policies, we can go a long way toward limiting the power and growth of the central government in Washington.

The Freedom Action National Conference will teach you several ways to do that.

You will learn from leading spokesmen, legislators, and activists. And you will have a chance to learn in special workshops, and to network with leaders from around the nation.

You will focus on the vital issues of the day, including the dangerous policies like Sustainable Development; biometric surveillance and the growth of Fusion Centers; violations of Second Amendment rights; violations of Constitutionally-guaranteed state sovereignty; the growing government takeover of health care and the use of natural supplements and cures; the reasons why a Constitutional Convention now is the wrong solution at the wrong time; and how many of these bad policies are being enforced through the power and wealth of organized labor.

Featured speakers will begin with a keynote address by Constitution expert Michael Badnarik, followed by an extensive lineup of experts and national spokesmen, including: Sheriff Richard Mack; Washington State Rep. Matt Shea; Oklahoma State Rep. Charles Key; Pennsylvania St. Rep. Sam Rohrer; National Rights To Work Committee President Mark Mix; Gun Owners of America Director Larry Pratt; International ID expert Mark Lerner; Constitutional Convention experts Chuck Michaelis and Larry Greenley; IRS experts Steve Hempfling and Tom Cryer; Illegal Immigration expert Jeff Lewis;Global Warming expert Marc Morano; United Nations Expert William Jasper; Sustainable Development/Agenda 21 experts Dr. Michael Coffman, Tom DeWeese and Michael Shaw; Property Rights champion Dan Byfield; Health Freedom experts Dr. Jane Orient, Scott Tipsand Dr. Jeff Marrongelle; Constitution expert and activist Ron Mann; Education expert and author Beverly Eakman; grassroots activists Catherine Bleish and John Bush; and alternative media experts George Shepherd, Gary Franchi and radio personality Sam Bushman.

The special Friday night dinner speaker will be Thomas Woods, author of the New York Times best seller “Meltdown,” which details how the stock market collapsed and the economy tanked. He has just released his latest book, “Nullification” You’ll have a chance to meet him at a special reception before the banquet and during a book signing afterwards.

These experts will not only educate on the vital threats Americans are now facing, but will also focus on action all of us can use to fight back.

  • The 10th Amendment movement is catching fire as state legislators are finding ways to add “teeth” to law rather than mere resolutions.
  • Rep. Matt Shea will explain how it’s being done.
  • Sheriff Richard Mack is teaching local sheriffs that they have the power to say no to federal agents.
  • Local communities are learning how to expel international provocateurs like ICLEI. Michael Shaw will explain how it’s done.
  • A new approach to fighting against federal and state intrusion called “Coordination,” is having tremendous success in helping regain local control. Expert Dan Byfield will not only tell of those victories but will also lead a workshop to teach how it’s done.
  • Ron Mann will lead a training workshop to teach new activists how to run campaigns on very little money.
  • And Beverly Eakman will train activists how to break up the outrageous consensus meetings that are being used in public forums to enforce policy without public discussion and debate. All of these processes lead to diminishing the power of the Federal Government – all based on local action – just like the Constitution intends.

The Conference will also feature a “Radio Row” with national and local radio programs broadcasting live from the conference, including Sam Bushman’s national “Liberty Roundtable” and Dr. Laurie Roth’s nationally-syndicated show; the presentation of the second annual Freedom’s Heroes Awards honoring local activists; and singer Jim Worthing.

I believe this is the finest lineup of speakers and leaders assembled for any conference of this size anywhere in America.

Please join me for this vital conference – and if you can – please bring a friend.

Sign up today and get the $60 early bird savings. And for the first time, there is a special “couples rate” for full registrations.

Go directly to the web site at www.freedomactionconference.com to see the full conference schedule and to register. Or call the American Policy Center at 540-341-8911.

In 1777, George Washington’s tired, starving, defeated army escaped to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania to regroup and train for the fight ahead. They went on to defeat the most powerful army in the world.

On August 12, 2010, the forces of Freedom return to Valley Forge to once again regroup, train and rekindle the spirit of Freedom for the coming battles. All concerned Americans should join the Freedom Action National Conference on the hallowed grounds of Valley Forge and begin the drive to Take America Back.

I need you with us!

P.S. Don’t forget, register before July 15th to get the “Early Bird Special” – a full $60 savings of the full registration price. If you can, please invite your friends and relatives to attend with you. There are special “couples” rates and student rates, too. There’s a rate to fit almost everyone’s budget. The conference will also be live-streamed and a full DVD set will be available. If you can’t attend, you don’t have to miss anything. For all the details and registration to www.freedomactionconference.com

P.P.S. Special bonus. Become a part of the Freedom Action Conference by signing up to be an affiliate. Help us sell registrations, the live stream or the DVD set and earn a commission for everyone you sign up. For all the details and to sign up click here.

Scott Tips To Speak On Government & Our Right To Eat Food

Posted May 20, 2010

A FOOD CHAIN RADIO RELEASE FROM METROFARM.COM

As living beings, nature gives us the right to eat food. But as citizens, government legislates what foods we have the right to eat. Given all the food laws now being passed, we must ask…

What foods will government give us the right to eat?

This Saturday at 9am Pacific, Michael Olson’s Food Chain Radio hosts Scott Tips, President of the National Health Federation, for a conversation about government and our right to eat food.

Topics include how government is acting to restrict our right to eat vitamins, minerals and local foods; why legislation is being passed to harmonize our food laws with the food laws of others; and what foods the government will give us the right to eat.

NHF in Norway

January 2008

On November 17th, Scott Tips flew from the Codex meeting in Germany to Oslo, Norway to make a presentation at the Fritt Forum, an event hosted by our Norwegian health-freedom partner organization, Fritt Helsevalg. The one-day event was well attended and well managed, featuring four speakers: Fritt Helsevalg’s vice-president, Jan Klyve; Dag Polesyznski; Dr. Robert Verkerk; and Scott Tips. The others spoke mainly about Norwegian and European health-freedom issues, while Scott spoke primarily about Codex Alimentarius and its impact upon health and health freedom and how important it was for Fritt Helsevalg members to work towards making Norway an oasis of freedom in Europe. As Fritt Helsevalg president Børge Eliassen noted, it was a great meeting that strengthened ties amongst all involved while letting Norwegian activists know they are not alone.

(left to right) Susan Negus, Joe Provenza, Sylvia Provenza, Paul Harvey, and Scott Tips (seated)

The Toronto Health Show was held in Toronto, Ontario from April 13-15th of this year and the
National Health Federation and its sister organization, the Foundation for Health Research, had a
well-placed booth at the Show. NHF Board member Sylvia Provenza and her husband Joe Provenza
drove up from Pittsburgh, while Scott Tips, Paul Harvey, and Susan Negus flew in from their
respective locations to represent the Federation and the Foundation at the show.

Scott was also a featured speaker having spoken on a health-freedom panel on Saturday day and
then having spoken on Codex Alimentarius at a separate event on Sunday afternoon. The Show was
well organized and well attended. Importantly, the NHF name and health-freedom message was
prominent throughout the Show, thanks to the tireless efforts of Sylvia, Joe, Susan, and Paul.

In the end, Sylvia and Susan were able to sign up many new NHF members; and Canadians
were reminded that NHF's activities do not stop at the 49th Parallel.
