Dr. David
Kennedy, in
cooperation
with the
Fluoride
Action
Network,
Citizens for
Safe Dinking
Water, and
the
International
Academy of
Oral
Medicine and
Toxicology,
has provided
some
valuable
ammunition
for all
those
fighting
fluoridation.
He has put
into one
smartly
packaged DVD
(Drinking
Water: "Let
the Truth be
Told") 4
separate
videotapes,
three
produced by
FAN, and the
other by
himself.
These 4 videotapes are:
1) Crippling Waters (length 28:30 min). This is a documentary about China's battle with the crippling effects of naturally high fluoride in drinking water on humans. David produced this with his wife Betty and the editing was performed by Ray Blavatt.
2) The Fluoride Deception (length 28:30 min). This is FAN's interview with Chris Bryson, the author of the book of the same name. See more details on this videotape on our home page www.FluorideAction.net .
3) Why I Changed My Mind on Fluoridation (length 28:30 min). This is FAN's interview with Dr. Hardy Limeback, the former President of the Canadian Association for Dental Research, Chairman of Preventive Dentistry at the University of Toronto, and a member of the NRC (2006) panel which recommended in March that the U.S. EPA lower its drinking water standard from 4 ppm.
4) EPA Scientist Speaks to Congress (length 28:32). This is FAN's record of Dr. William Hirzy's testimony before a U.S. Senate Committee, followed by his interview with Michael Connett explaining the EPA Unions' concerns about fluoridation.
A very nice addition to this DVD is that while one is waiting to choose which of the 4 videotapes one wants to view one can hear the song by Alex (alias Felix) Wilson "Get it Out!" Alex sung this song in hearings in Burlington, Vermont, at the CDC-ADA propaganda-celebration in Chicago in 2005 and during the successful campaign to keep fluoridation out of Bellingham, Washington.
David, who
has already
been such a
generous
supporter of
FAN and many
other groups
fighting
fluoridation,
has very
generously
donated 200
copies of
this DVD to
FAN to help
raise some
much needed
funds for
our campaign
efforts.
As far as getting the word out to as many people as possible, we particularly hope that you will take this DVD along to your local Public Access Cable TV station and ask them to run the four programs as a series. Don't be bashful about this: their FCC licence requires them to broadcast material like this. Each tape is timed to fit into a 30 minute segment. If you are able to do this, please also arrange to get some publicity for the series in your local newspaper.
Thanks again to David for putting this project together and thanks to all of you who will fire of this ammunition in your local campaigns. Please let us know if you are successful in getting this on Cable TV and any other creative ways that you use to get the DVD shown in public.
