Look for Dr. Janson's new edition of his best-selling first book. The new edition is titled Dr. Janson's New Vitamin Revolution and is a further breakthrough in simplifying the sometimes bewildering world of dietary supplements. Dr. Janson clarifies all of the information regarding vitamins and other dietary supplements, and provides many examples of prevention and treatment programs. How often have you stood in the health food store surveying the vast array of vitamins and felt your eyes glaze over as feelings of panic start to rise. Which ones do I need? What will help my medical condition? How do I take care of my health? Familiar questions for those of us who are on the path of good health. Luckily, Dr. Michael Janson has written an excellent book that addresses all these issues and more. In The Vitamin Revolution in Health Care he carefully goes through all the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids and a variety of herbs and accessory nutrients, telling us what they are for, why the body needs them and the dosages to take. He also describes various health problems such as diabetes, arthritis, fatigue, headaches, PMS, heart disease, allergies, digestive disorders and prostate problems again giving a comprehensive vitamin program for each condition.

An important point about this book is that it is very easy to understand (no medico-babble) and also very up-to-date. If you are looking for a program to help prevent disease Dr. Janson also gives varying levels of protection depending on how much you want to take. What I found most interesting, was that Dr. Janson gives his own vitamin program. It is nice to see an M.D. who admits to taking large amounts of vitamins. There is a great deal of very useful information in this book, both for the complete beginner and for someone who has been taking vitamins for years. So if you are looking for a comprehensive, well-researched book on vitamins, this is the book to buy.

Dr. Janson is the Past President of the American College for Advancement in Medicine, Past President of the American Preventive Medical Association, and has been in holistic medical practice for twenty-five years.
