Scary Government Pharmacy In Preparation For ObamaCare?
ALERT: Obama has become so concerned about the U.S.’s “lack” of good medicine, he’s decided to create a new government-controlled pharmacy!
The organization will be called the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences. Government insiders have remained mum on the real costs of the colossal expenditure.
However, they do say the cost of the new pharmaceutical center is small compared to the $45.8 billion dollars that drug companies spent on research last year. But, this new institution won’t be cheap. It can cost up to $1 billion dollars to release a single new drug.
Drug Companies Scale Back On Research
We can be sure the cost of this enormous bureaucracy will quickly exceed the $3 trillion dollar price tag of ObamaCare. No amount of spending in Washington ever seems to be enough. Proponents of the new organization say that because large drug companies aren’t able to find new drugs and are scaling back their research operations, the government needs to intervene. Drug manufacturers are probably cutting back on their work because they’re preparing for the giant dent ObamaCare is going to leave in their wallets! And now that they’ve heard the government is creating a huge pharmacy, why would they even bother competing? After all, private drug companies don’t have the privilege of limitless funds and bailouts.
If we already have the National Institute of Health (NIH), why do we need yet another healthcare organization? NIH is government agency that is responsible for biomedical and health research. Supporters of the health super complex say that NIH primarily focuses on researching components for drugs, and then the drug companies create drugs using those compounds. I guess it would be easier just to cut out the middleman (the drug companies.)
Dr. Francis Collins, Director of NIH said, "None of this is intended to be competitive with the private sector. The hope would be that any project that reaches the point of commercial appeal would be moved out of the academic support line and into the private sector."
If they don’t intend on competing with the private sector why would they create an organization that essentially does just that? Something seems fishy. Could the government be preparing to create one large pharmaceutical distribution center for more than 30 billion people in the U.S.? If they are, some starting questions arise, such as how will this medicine be dispersed and how can Americans make sure it’s safe? Given the fact our government can’t even be trusted to deliver our mail on time, would we be able to trust them with our medication?
Save America: Repeal ObamaCare!
It’s true, our healthcare system needs to be fixed. But not at the expense of the future of our country, our lives and the lives of our loved ones. The only solution to stop the impending apocalypse is to repeal ObamaCare. After having the healthcare legislation shoved down their throats, many Americans have given up hope and think ObamaCare can’t be repealed. So, far it’s made it through the House. It’s true that even if the GOP gets the necessary Senate votes to get rid of the bloated bill, Obama can use his Presidential clout and veto it. However, if Republicans can convince 1 out of 4 conservative Democrats to change their mind they can override Obama’s veto.
Washington still isn’t listening and they’re moving full steam ahead with ObamaCare. Enough is enough. It’s time to hold the DC corruptocrats responsible. They were elected to represent us and look out for our well-being. Clearly, they’re not doing their job. Now let’s do our job and take action – to protect the future of our country!
