“The evils of tyranny are rarely seen but by him who resists it.”

In this, one of our busiest years, NHF fought flagrant human-rights violations of the Nuremburg Code and challenged blatant violations of the Italian constitution, crossing Italy in a series of speeches against mandatory vaccinations. NHF grew and NHF Italy was born.

(NHF is an international health-freedom federation despite the original “National” moniker given by founder Fred Hart in 1955. With your loyal help, we long ago crossed the “pond” to also promote health freedom to the World.)

Good Nutrition, Fights Depression Among Seniors

Not everyone knows the correlation between good nutrition and depression. The latter is usually thought of as caused by emotions and a biochemical imbalance in the body. According to recent statistics, approximately 83% of the adult population in America consumes coffee on a daily basis, and 31% of avid coffee drinkers make this beverage the most essential part of their morning. Besides having a unique and refreshing taste, studies have lent evidence to the fact that regular coffee consumption  has a great number of positive effects on physical health, which include lowering the risks of diabetes, heart diseases, and even liver cancer.

What are the Health Benefits of Eating Coffee Beans?

Coffee is one of the foods that contains the highest number of antioxidants, or more precisely, a group of antioxidants known as flavonoids. According to numerous findings, flavonoids play an important role in protecting the human organism from various ailments, such as inflamations, heart disease, and even tumors. A regular consumption of coffee can also help prevent the onset of Parkinson’s disease, and lower the risk of type 2 Diabetes, Alzheimer's, and depression. Other antioxidant compounds that play a protective role include caffeic acid, caffeine, chlorogenic acids, and eugenol among a few others.
